The truck’s owner informed me the engine blew its headgasket with this picture.
It’s driven 20,000 miles since I sold it last year . The little truck got to drive down south several times and even be a reliable daily.
Repairing the head would have cost more than the truck is worth, so it was sent to the junkyard in the sky with 250,000 miles on the odometer.
I honestly thought the truck only had maybe only 50k miles left, but only because of cancerous rust on the body and bed mounts. Would have never expected the 4.0 to go. Well, I guess the both of us got our money’s worth.

Buyer can’t complain too much if they got 20,000 miles out of it, that’s definitely well past the “got suckered on a used car purchase” point, especially when the used car in question was already fairly beat.

Yeah, they definitely got their money’s worth. RIP Ranger.

In it’ s death, it will let others live. That is an honorable fate.

Oh yeah, most definitely! The owner and I are friends so he kept me informed on what was happening to it. He basically had to sand the paint down to bare metal to get rid of my Gambler 500 White Claw paintjob. xD
